Artist Bio

I am a classically trained oil painter from New York, currently living in Topanga Canyon - an artist community outside Los Angeles. My work explores themes of reflection, contemplation, and hope. I use art and writing to process reality, access deeper truths, and transform chaos into meaning.

My work is inspired by my natural surroundings, as well as some challenging yet pivotal experiences: living in New York in 2020 during Covid; processing Oct 7 (and leaving Israel one day before, after a visit), and the LA wildfires of 2025. To process these shocks to my system, I turned to my easel.

I'm driven by the power of art to bridge communication gaps and turn darkness into light

HOPE IS WORK 🕯️

~~

Beyond my art practice, my career background is in advertising and communication, helping big brands tell new stories. I lived in Tel Aviv from 2008-2012, where I worked as a marketing writer for global tech startups. This sparked an interest in the power of language and design to have an impact on thoughts, feelings and behavior. I followed this interest into the advertising industry, working as a strategist for agencies like Ogilvy, Deutsch and Big Human. I have a master's degree from Columbia University in Strategic Communications.
